We are seeking a visionary and experienced Head of Fashion Design and Development to lead our creative team and shape the future of our brand's aesthetic. This pivotal role is responsible for establishing the creative direction, leading the design process from concept to completion, and ensuring our collections are both commercially successful and true to our brand identity. The ideal candidate will inspire and mentor a talented team of designers, driving innovation in garment construction and material sourcing. You will oversee the entire product development lifecycle, manage design calendars, and collaborate closely with merchandising, production, and marketing to bring cohesive and compelling collections to market. Your deep understanding of market trends and strong commercial acumen will be essential in creating products that resonate with our customers. Requirements
1. Proven experience in a senior fashion design leadership role, managing a team of designers.
2. Demonstrated ability to set creative vision and develop seasonal collection strategies.
3. Comprehensive knowledge of the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to final sample.
4. Expertise in market research, trend forecasting, and translating insights into commercially viable products.
5. In-depth technical knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, fabric properties, and finishing techniques.
6. Experience in sourcing textiles and trims, and managing relationships with suppliers and manufacturers.
7. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
8. Strong project management skills with experience managing design calendars and cross-functional timelines.

2. A strong network of industry contacts, including fabric mills and manufacturing partners.
